BROADCAST currently offline March 21st was declared International Day for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination by the General Assembly of the United Nations as a reaction to the murder of 69 anti-apartheid demonstrators in Sharpeville, South-Africa, in 1960. Radio Voices Without Frontiers RVSF 2010 is a one day broadcast campaign through the AMARC network when community radios actively engage themselves for tolerance, equal rights and celebrate the diversity. This campaign aims to highlight the issues of racism from civil society perspective on all levels - local, regional and worldwide. We call upon all community radios to take part in RVSF 2010 campaign downloading and rebroadcast the programs all year long. ![]() |
